Seek Your Job in our team of trusted gardeners

Every garden holds a tale waiting to be uncovered. Each bloom, each winding path, and each meticulously tended bed tells a story of its own. At the National Trust, we believe that preserving this narrative requires not only honoring tradition but also embracing innovation. Our gardeners are the architects of this balance, ensuring that our historic gardens continue to thrive and evolve. Now, we're inviting you to become part of this ongoing story. We seek passionate individuals eager to contribute to the next chapter of gardens that have been loved for centuries.

Imagine working in gardens that have been cultivated for hundreds of years, where your role isn't just about maintaining the beauty of these spaces but about shaping their future. We're looking for gardeners of all experience levels to join our vibrant team of over 700 dedicated professionals. Our gardens range from globally renowned landmarks to charming, lesser-known havens that are cherished by local communities. Each garden is a unique narrative, and you will have the opportunity to help write its next chapter, engaging with around 24 million visitors annually who come to admire and learn from these green treasures.

In joining us, you will engage with gardens that are not only celebrated but also deeply cherished. You'll be part of a supportive network, receiving the training and opportunities necessary to hone your skills and excel in your role. You'll have access to centuries of horticultural wisdom and the latest innovations, ensuring that your work is both rooted in tradition and forward-looking. This is your chance to see where your expertise can lead our gardens and how they, in turn, can enrich your career.
